Travis Meyer
Travis Meyer brings over 15 years of coaching experience and a genuine passion for helping athletes grow both on and off the court. He is currently in his third season on staff with the University of Missouri–St. Louis women’s volleyball program, where the Tritons have earned an NCAA Division II Tournament appearance each year, including a GLVC Championship in 2025. As the team’s passing coach, Travis helped develop a libero who was named Conference Player of the Year and AVCA All-American. He also contributes heavily to the team’s transition offense, helping guide a group that led Division II in kills per set and ranked top 15 nationally in hitting percentage in 2025.
At St. Louis University High (SLUH), Travis has been part of eight Missouri State Championship teams—one as a player and seven as a coach—including a dominant run of more than 130 consecutive set wins over three seasons.
More than wins and accolades, Travis cares deeply about building community through volleyball. He believes the gym should be a place where athletes can compete at a high level, be fully themselves, and learn lessons that extend far beyond the sport. He’s constantly working to improve his craft and loves pouring that energy into the athletes he coaches.
