Coach Paige
Coach Paige is passionate about helping young athletes grow and develop throughout their volleyball journey. She understands that every athlete is unique and that success often requires individualized coaching, encouragement, and support. Her coaching philosophy centers around building strong fundamentals, discipline, consistency, effective communication, mental toughness, and the confidence needed to excel both on and off the court.
Recognizing that volleyball is just as much a mental game as it is a physical one, Coach Paige emphasizes developing mental resilience alongside technical skills. She believes that most athletes are capable of achieving more than they realize, and one of her greatest passions is helping players discover their confidence and reach their full potential.
Coach Paige’s volleyball career began at a young age, spending countless hours in the gym while her mother coached her older sisters. She started playing competitively around age 10 and went on to play club volleyball for Washington Volleyball Club before competing for PLVC and later St. Louis High Performance during her 17s and 18s seasons. Collegiately, she competed at both Southwest Baptist University and Lindenwood University, where she completed her final three years as a student-athlete.
While playing at Lindenwood, Coach Paige also served as an assistant coach for High Performance. After college, she stepped away from volleyball coaching to pursue her career as a Certified Athletic Trainer, while continuing to coach strength and conditioning programs and CrossFit athletes. In 2023, she returned to volleyball coaching with St. Louis High Performance after relocating back to Missouri from Texas. Most recently, she has coached 10s, 11s, and 12s teams but enjoys working with athletes of all ages and skill levels.
Coach Paige understands that athletic development is a process that takes time and dedication. Growth is not always linear, but she believes that trusting the process and celebrating progress along the way is what makes coaching so rewarding. Watching athletes transform from their first day in the gym to weeks, months, and years later is what fuels her passion for coaching and developing the next generation of volleyball players.
